Ebony Architectural Woodwork Ltd. is looking for an entry level cabinetmaker. If you have at least 3 years of experience in a millwork/cabinet shop, and are looking to join a great team of people then please consider applying for this position. We are willing to train the right person, and being a small shop will be exposed to all aspects of high-end residential and commercial millwork.
Requirements for this position include
·      being able to read, or are at least familiar with millwork shop drawings
·      sorting out cabinet parts by cabinet number and edgebanding colour
·      running parts through the edgebander, and filing the edges
·      installing hardware into pre-drilled holes on the cabinet parts
·      assembling and labeling the cabinets
We work on a 4-day work week. Every Friday is a day off. Monday through Thursday inclusive are 9-hour days (6:30am to 4:00pm), totaling a 36-hour work week 72 hours pay period. You will be paid bi-weekly, with 72 hours worked, but paid for 80 hours. Yes, you read that correctly. Eight hours bonus paid per pay period.
