Job Overview

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers.  Your primary responsibility will be on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues related to our products.  This position requires strong technical skills, excellent customer service abilities and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

·         Inspect cabinets for defects, including fixing scratches, chips, and structural issues

·         Perform repairs on site or bring back to shop if necessary

·         Adjust hinges, drawers, and other hardware to ensure proper functionality

·         Maintain accurate records of service for office

·         Communicate with customers to understand their concerns and provide solutions

·         Conduct thorough inspections of all cabinets and millwork to ensure everything is in working order

·         Maintain and manage tools, equipment, and supplies used for repairs and adjustments

·         Collaborate with Site Manager and Service Coordinator to address customer feedback and improve process

·         Follow safety protocols while performing repairs and installations

·         Ensure all work complies with company policies and industry standards

 

 

Qualifications

·         Previous experience in a service technician role, preferably in the cabinetry or home improvement industry

·         Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand and power tools for repairs and installation tasks

·         Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively

·         Outstanding customer service skills and a friendly demeanor, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely

·         Detail oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy in all aspects of work

·         Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
