*Overview*

We are looking to strengthen our team by adding a full-time member (Monday to Friday) who can bring substantial value. This individual should have a keen eye for detail, maintain exceptional quality in their work, and, most importantly, show a strong dedication and commitment to our organization.

*Responsibilities but not limited to*

  • Conduct thorough inspections, sanding, filling, and preparation of wood veneer, solid wood, melamine, and solid surface surfaces.
  • Execute finishing tasks, such as the application of plastic laminate, following appropriate training.
  • Work from start to finish with a diverse range of high-quality woods, veneers, laminates, melamine, solid surfaces, and other materials.
  • Perform touch-ups (wood putty, paint, stain…) on finished materials as needed to uphold quality standards.
  • Operate and maintain woodworking machinery, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments, demonstrating proficiency in both imperial and metric systems.
  • Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of both equipment and the workspace.
  • Consistently upholds a superior level of finish quality.
    Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to evolving project demands.
  • Maintain a daily log of tasks in time sheets for accurate reporting.
  • Receive and apply constructive feedback to foster improvement.

  • Proficient in performing heavy-lifting tasks
  • Meticulous in attention to detail
  • Consistently upholding a high standard of quality
  • A collaborative team member with a positive attitude who takes pride in their contributions
  • Dedicated to ensuring workplace safety
  • Holds a valid Ontario G Class License, allowing for assistance on job sites
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools
  • Possesses experience in architectural woodworking, providing a significant competitive edge.
  • Proficient in establishing connections across all tiers of the organization.
  • Organized and capable of working autonomously and as a team.

*Wage*

The starting wage is set, but if you bring relevant knowledge, experience, and transferable skills to our team, there’s room for negotiation or a chance to demonstrate your value.
