Job Description<\/strong>
\nThe Forklift Operator works with our Manufacturing and Materials teams to support the transfer of incoming shipments into our facility and the receipt of deliveries within our computer operation system.<\/p>\n

Reports to:\u00a0<\/strong>Materials Manager<\/p>\n

Direct Reports:<\/strong>\u00a0None<\/p>\n

Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Manufacturing Plant<\/p>\n

Main Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Unload product deliveries in a safe and organized manner to prevent damage.
\nConfirm all items have been received, and enter information into the system to show complete or partial receipt of the items for the applicable Purchase Order.
\nLoad panel deliveries onto the necessary cutting equipment.
\nReceive outside vendor product and sort and distribute as necessary.
\nDeliver parts to other sites as required (Custom Shop, inventory storage locations, etc.).
\nRemove full bins of cardboard and cut off pieces to the back of the yard for disposal.
\nReport all errors, damages, and discrepancies immediately to the Purchaser or Materials Manager.
\nEnsure all products received have been packaged and delivered to company standards.
\nEnsure forklift safety checks are completed and documented.
\nAdhere to all safety requirements.
\nMaintain a clean and efficient environment by ensuring received products do not sit long before moving to their destination (saws, pallet racking, inventory locations etc.).
\nProvide exceptional customer service while interacting with internal and external customers.
\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives.<\/p>\n

You have:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening).
\nStrong organization, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
\nAbility to take direction and execute tasks on time while ensuring quality of work.
\nA safety-conscious attitude.
\nExperience with functioning in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n

Education and\/or Training:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Valid Saskatchewan driver\u2019s license.
\nForklift certification or relevant experience (we can certify).<\/p>\n
