Primary responsibilities:

·         Blueprint Interpretation: Read and comprehend blueprint designs to understand the specifications for fabrication.

·         Machine Setup: Configure machinery for production, ensuring proper alignment and calibration to meet blueprint requirements.

·         Measurement Verification: Verify all measurements and calculations before setting up machinery to ensure accuracy in the fabrication process.

·         Work Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency, safety, and productivity.

·         Machinery Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity

·         CNC Programming: Input relevant codes to specify feed, speed, and toolpath cuts for CNC machining processes, following blueprint specifications.

Qualifications:

Computer Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in computer and information systems related to CNC machining and fabrication processes.
Attention to Detail: Strong eye for detail to ensure precision and accuracy in metal fabrication tasks.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational abilities to manage tasks, materials, and workflow effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Metal Machinery Expertise: In-depth knowledge of metal machinery operations, including setup, operation, and maintenance procedures.
Reporting and Analytical Skills: Ability to generate detailed reports and analyze data related to fabrication processes for quality control and improvement purposes.
Mechanical Aptitude: Thorough understanding of mechanics, mathematics, and basic chemistry principles relevant to fabrication.
Blueprint Interpretation: Proficiency in interpreting 3D drawings and orthographic projections to translate blueprint designs into fabricated metal products accurately.
