Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement:

Build and maintain strong relationships with architect firms, interior designers, and woodworking professionals.
Present and promote Sugatsune’s products, focusing on door hinges, sliding door hardware, and cabinetry hardware.
Provide technical support and product education to clients, ensuring they understand the benefits and applications of our solutions.

Business Development:

Identify and target potential clients, focusing on specification opportunities for architectural and woodworking projects.
Develop strategies to introduce Sugatsune products into specifications for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
Collaborate with distributors and dealers to ensure product availability and seamless project execution.

Product Promotion:

Conduct product presentations and demonstrations tailored to the needs of architects, designers, and woodworking professionals.
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to showcase Sugatsune’s products and build industry connections.

Market Insights:

Monitor industry trends, project developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Provide feedback to the marketing and product development teams to align offerings with market needs.

Reporting and Collaboration:

Maintain detailed records of client interactions, project leads, and sales activities.
Work closely with the sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure alignment on strategies and objectives.

Qualifications and Skills
Experience:

3+ years in a sales, business development, or specification role within the architectural, design, or woodworking industry.
Familiarity with door hardware, sliding systems, or cabinetry hardware is a strong asset.

Education:

Post-secondary education in architecture, interior design, business, or a related field is preferred.

Skills:

Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence decision-makers.
Technical aptitude to understand and explain product specifications and applications.
Self-motivated and results-driven, with excellent time management and organizational skills.

Other Requirements:

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Ontario to visit clients and attend events.
