Responsibilities for this role include:

>Design, verify and launch new products and processes
>Create and maintain manufacturing Bills of Materials (BOM)
>Perform manufacturing time studies
>Create Non Conformance Reports
>Research continuous improvement and problem root cause resolution of current operating procedures      on production floor leading to optimizing systems and reducing labour
>Carry out continuous improvement opportunities utilizing a wide variety of basic analytical techniques       (run charts, control charts etc)
>Provide support to manufacturing, Quality and Maintenance Departments

Education & Experience:

>Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering
>1-2 Years working experience as a Process Engineer an asset
>Working knowledge of Autocad and/or SolidWorks
>Able to prepare concepts, designs and mechanical drawings
>Process improvement tools such as Lean/Six Sigma experience an asset
>Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Application
>Flexible and able to adapt to rapidly changing environment
>Ability to multi task and handle multiple projects simultaneously
>Excellent Oral and Written communication
>Excellent organizational and time management skills
>Strong computer skills and experience using various software applications such as spreadsheets and >graphics packages
