Management Trainee – Manufacturing & Operations

Position Overview:
Are you a graduate of the Advanced Wood Processing Program with a passion for automation and manufacturing?  We are excited to offer a Management Trainee Program designed to develop future leaders in our organization. This program provides hands-on experience working with plant managers, manufacturing teams, and automation projects to enhance plant operations and efficiency.

Program Highlights:

Duration:      18 -24 months leading to a leadership role in the company.

Mentorship:  Work closely with experienced plant managers and leaders.

Training:        Gain in-depth knowledge of Manufacturing, Operations and Quality.

Project-Based Learning: Contribute to key projects focused on automation and process improvement.
Career Growth: Prepare for leadership roles within the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist plant managers in identifying and implementing automation solutions to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to streamline workflows and integrate automated systems.
  • Support ongoing projects, from planning to execution, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Learn and apply best practices in woodworking, automation, and manufacturing management.
  • Analyze data to assess the effectiveness of implemented solutions and recommend improvements.

 

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an Advanced Woodworking Program or equivalent work experience
  • Experience or knowledge of automation systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of some woodworking machinery
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Strong MS office skills
