We have a location in both Nanaimo and Duncan and at this time we are looking for an operator for our newest location in Duncan.  Our wage starts at 25.00 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
– Set up CNC machines according to job specifications using knowledge of CNC programming and tooling requirements. (Multicam Apex 3R 3 Axis with live tooling)
– Manually machine and manufacture quality precision parts (manual lathe and mill)
– Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet precise specifications and quality standards.
– Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
– Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality control.
– Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make adjustments as needed.
– Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements:
– Proficiency in operating CNC machines including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
– Experience with CAD/CAM software for programming CNC machines.
– Strong understanding of machining processes and materials.
– Basic math skills for interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
– Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting machine operations.
– Familiarity with hand tools used in machining processes.
