Creative Woodcraft is a locally owned custom cabinetry manufacturer with over 30 years of craftsmanship and innovation. We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join the front end of our production team and bring exceptional cabinetry to life.
This role is perfect for someone with a passion for hands-on work, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being part of a lean manufacturing process. If you’re experienced in working with a variety of materials, can read blueprints, and love solving problems on the shop floor, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do
– Operate woodworking equipment, hand tools, CNC machines, Edgebander and Gannomat hardware inserter
– Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and layouts
– Build custom cabinetry and components from plywood, veneer, laminates, solid wood, and MDF
– Assemble cabinets, install hardware, and ensure quality workmanship throughout
– Drive, and follow production schedules and complete work on time
– Maintain a clean and organized work area
– Log daily activities and adhere to safety protocols
– Collaborate with the team and participate in cross-training and continuous improvement
– Support process optimization using lean manufacturing principles
What You Bring
– 3+ years of experience in cabinetry or millwork manufacturing
– Proficiency with woodworking tools, machinery, and hardware
– Ability to read blueprints and assembly instructions
– CNC operation or maintenance experience is an asset
– Strong attention to detail and finishing quality
– Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
– Accountability, punctuality, and reliability
– Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
– A drive to improve systems and eliminate inefficiencies
