About the Role
The Journeyperson Cabinet Maker will play a key role in the creation of high-quality cabinetry, overseeing projects from start to finish. This hands-on role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with a variety of materials and tools. You will also be responsible for fabricating, modifying, and repairing items needed for project completion, while ensuring safety and quality standards are met at all stages.

What You’ll Do
Operate woodworking machines and use hand tools to cut, shape and form wood
Select the appropriate materials, fittings, and tools for each task
Plan the most effective approach to ensure that each project is completed on time
Construct both standard and custom components of cabinets
Inspect each piece to ensure completion is accurate, necessary finishes are applied and meets quality standards
Prepare and interpret drawings
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
What You Bring
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Completion of a training program or apprenticeship
Min 3 years’ experience as a Cabinet Maker
Ability to perform math; read technical information, analyze situations to define issues and draw conclusions
Thorough knowledge of the standard methods, equipment, materials, tools, and practices of the cabinet making trade
Proficient in planning and managing projects
Operate equipment using a variety of processes
Perform consistently under pressure
Must be focused and attentive to details
Must be able to function with interruptions and deadlines
Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Can read, interpret, and compose work orders
Physical fitness and the ability to lift 80lbs
