Richelieu Industrial Sales Representatives
Job Title: Sales Representative.
Location: Southern Alberta (Calgary and Surround Area)

Qualifications:
The qualified representative will need a background in professional sales with a minimum 1-year sales experience. The candidate must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and have strong presentation and preparation skills.
Summary/ Description:
This position is a vital part of our collective sales objectives and business unit goals. Because of the vast product line offered at Richelieu this position is a resource contact for all clients mentioned below. The Sales Representative will provide new and pre-existing marketing mix awareness to their clients in efforts to exceed individual and divisional sales targets. Lunch and learns, trade shows, product awareness, cocktail evenings, mailings, collateral updates, and cyclical calls are required.
Objective:
To increase sales by creating a current client database, providing a value-added service to customers, and communicating effectively and efficiently with our local operation team.
Working Conditions.
90 percent of the Representatives time will be spent conducting virtual meeting/onsite client meeting and connecting with clients via phone calls. The balance of time will be allocated at manager’s discretion. A review will take place 3 months after start date to evaluate call impact. 5 percent of your time will be spent inside the office training, working on the order desk, and picking orders as part of our cross-training initiative. A home office set up is required. Call frequency between 75 and 85 customer contacts will be required weekly for high impact.
Responsibilities.
Provide direct sales opportunities for Richelieu Hardware.
Secure and generate orders.
Build strong relationships with a select customer base.
Understand scope of business at client’s firm.
Increase customers’ knowledge of our marketing mix.
Provide collateral where applicable.
Update High Gear and populate calendar.
Participate in minimum 1 industry related association (CKCA or AWMAC).
Understand competitor products.
Develop/ Formulate individual work plans and be accountable to it.
The appointed candidate will be expected to conform to above but is not limited to other functions pertaining to any other task assigned by the manager in this region.
