The Regional Account Manager is responsible for building new business relationships and nurturing existing ones within the sales territories of Quebec, the Maritimes, and Manitoba. The ideal candidate will effectively implement market penetration strategies aimed at increasing sales of premium hardware and component products across these regions. Additionally, the Regional Account Manager will serve as a consultant to dealers, distributors, and channel partners, offering merchandising, promotional support, and technical assistance to enhance customer satisfaction and uphold the Sugatsune brand’s reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Executive Management to formulate market penetration strategies and define sales objectives for Quebec, the Maritimes, and Manitoba.
Implement sales strategies and oversee Sugatsune’s industrial hardware business across the designated territories.
Cultivate new business relationships while expanding existing customer accounts and channel partnerships in Quebec, the Maritimes, and Manitoba.
Engage in trade shows, channel partner exhibits, seminars, and trade association events within these regions.
Prospect and follow up with engineers, designers, industrial equipment fabricators, distributors, and OEMs to develop new business opportunities and secure projects.
Conduct research and analysis of the industry within the respective regions, including macroeconomic factors, industry sales trends, and competitive dynamics.
Deliver quarterly presentations to executives, providing insights on industry and competitor analysis, sales performance, and project updates for Quebec, the Maritimes, and Manitoba.
Facilitate sales and product training sessions for distributors’ sales representatives.
