Job Description
Woodrose Woodworking is looking for a shop foreman/lead hand to grow with our expanding workforce. The position would involved ensuring a safe and productive work environment for production workers, quality control, and training new additions to the Woodrose team.
Position
-Manage projects from time of award to completion
– Manage 25-30 employees
-Attend shop production meetings and co-ordinate with project managers
-Understand and implement shop safety standards
-Manage production throughout the shop
-provide quality control and problem solve time constraint issues
-A working knowledge of AWMAC and AWS standards will be an added value
Requirments
-Looking for a smart, positive person that works well with others
-A working knowledge of shop drawings, millwork construction, standard Millwork Machinery, people friendly, daily correspondence, teamwork through leadership
-Must understand millwork joinery and how to push a project forward to follow a project timeline while coordinating the team
-Excellent communication skills, must have strong organization skills
-Must be willing to learn and be able to listen well as delegate
Job Details
-Permanent, fulltime
– Monday – Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
– Possible overtime available
-Benefits after 3 months
– Able to use the shop for personal projects after 3 months
-Salary depends on experience $34.00-$40.00 per hour
